Nicholas Heijbroek
BSc (Hons) Transport and Crowd Consultant
Nick is a transport planner and modeller working on a wide range of development planning and crowd projects. He has experience in the production of comprehensive transport and crowd assessments and analysis, including junction analysis, demand forecasting, static and dynamic modelling.
Using specialist microsimulation modelling software, he has analysed road and pedestrian infrastructure and the interaction between pedestrians and vehicles in ‘shared space’ environments, aiding the optimisation of design. Nick has used his skills on projects such as stadia and multipurpose venue design, public realm projects, public transport, taxi assessment and town centre schemes with pedestrian interaction.
Out of the office, he can be found exploring the world, building computers or getting some fresh air in the hills.
